Overview The Summer Supply position offers an exciting prospect to support child care programs during the summer months. Duties
Assist classroom teachers with daily activities and lesson preparations
Support children during instructional activities, including those with disabilities or special needs
Help organize educational materials and supplies for summer programs
Engage children in age-appropriate learning activities, including math and early childhood education exercises
Supervise children during recess, lunch, and other break times to ensure safety and positive behavior




Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to foster a supportive learning workplace
Implement classroom routines and assist with behavioral management strategies
Support inclusive education practices by working closely with students requiring additional assistance

Skills
Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings
Classroom experience or background in early childhood education preferred
Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, teachers, and parents
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
Familiarity with math instruction at early childhood or elementary levels
Passion for supporting children's development and fostering an inclusive learning workplace

Pay: $19.60 per hour
