This role involves managing pharmacy staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering comprehensive medication management services.The Pharmacist (Pharmacy Manager) will play a vital role in optimizing medication therapy, supporting clinical initiatives, and maintaining efficient pharmacy operations across various departments including LTC, acute care,
and hospital settings.RequiredBe a Registered Part A Pharmacist with the Ontario College of Pharmacists with a Valid B.Sc.Phm. or PharmD DegreeOversee medication dispensing processes, ensuring accuracy and safety in compliance with college regulationsManage inventory levels, procurement, and storage of medicationsEnsure adherence to all federal and state pharmacy laws, regulations, and standardsProvide patient assessments and medication therapy management, including immunizations and pain management protocolsUtilize pharmacy software and EMR systems for accurate documentation and patient record managementCollaborate with healthcare providers on medical management plans for diverse patient populations.Conduct patient service activities including medication administration guidance and patient education and counselling.This is Full Time position with Saturday avaliability a requirement.SkillsExperience in a community pharmacy setting with a solid communication and interpersonal skillsProven expertise in clinical pharmacy practice including patient assessment, medication management, pain management, and immunizationsProficiency with KROLL pharmacy software systems for documentation and communicationKnowledge of compounding medications along with injection training certificationExperience with inventory management systems to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing wasteAbility to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of patient service and safety standardsJob Type: Full-timePay: $130,000.00-$160,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
