Position Summary - The Pro-Shop Assistant is responsible for providing friendly and efficient service to our guests to ensure that they have an outstanding experience that may in fact exceed their expectations. The Golf Shop acts as the hub of the golf workplace which may include staff providing service to clients beyond the regular Golf Shop responsibilities.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

- Tee sheet co-ordination and management.

- Responsible for effectively making tee-time reservations

- Oversee back shop staff on duty

- Ensuring the Golf Shop is clean and restocked on a daily basis

- Actively promotes sales of retail product and knowledge of the same

- Attend to guests daily needs as required

- Operation of all financial transaction equipment

- Complete daily reports of all transactions

- Co-operate and accept other assignments as and when required.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:

- Secondary education or higher

- Have a positive knowledge of golf course environments

- Knowledge of computers and Point of Sale systems





- Customer service skills and/or retail experience

- Telephone systems and skills

- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.

- Genuine, professional and fun disposition.

Physical Requirements:

The job will require long periods of standing and some heavy lifting so maintaining good physical health is important, having comfortable footwear will help in this regard.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour
