Role Description The Product Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Nelson Toyota in Nelson, BC. This role involves greeting and engaging customers, learning about their needs, and presenting suitable vehicle options in a clear and informed manner.

The Product

Advisor will conduct test drives, explain vehicle features, pricing, and financing options, and guide customers through the purchase process. Day-to-day tasks include following up with leads, maintaining product knowledge on current models and inventory, preparing accurate sales documentation, and collaborating with the sales and service teams to ensure a positive customer experience.



The role also includes using dealership systems to track customer interactions and staying informed about promotions and market trends.

Qualifications

- Strong Customer Service and Sales skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
- Clear and professional Communication skills, including active listening and the ability to explain technical information in accessible terms.
- Analytical Skills to understand customer needs, compare product options, and support sound recommendations.
- Product Management-related skills such as maintaining up-to-date knowledge of vehicle features, packages, and inventory.
- Previous experience in automotive sales or retail sales is an asset.
- Comfort using dealership software, CRM systems, and basic office applications.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and a customer-first mindset.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in office, including evenings or weekends as required.
