Job Summary

Responsibilities
Load and unload steel products using appropriate heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and clamp trucks
Safely operate machinery including cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment to move steel materials within the warehouse
Assist with order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently
Maintain organized storage of steel inventory, ensuring proper stacking and labeling for easy retrieval
Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming shipments and preparing outgoing loads




Conduct routine inspections of equipment and warehouse areas to ensure safety standards are met
Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution workflows and improve overall efficiency

Skills
Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar industrial environments
Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as cranes, forklifts, and clamp trucks
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively throughout the shift
Skilled in order picking, load & unload procedures, and shipping & receiving processes
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and documentation
Construction or industrial experience is a plus for understanding heavy material handling
Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse activities
