Steel Built Systems Ltd. is looking for a reliable person for a steel stud framing roll forming machine operator, assembler and forklift/material handling role.

Work includes
Operating a steel roll-forming machine, training will be provided.
Basic machine setup and production support
Using a computer/laptop for straightforward machine-related work, Vertex BD drafting software training will be provided related to machine operations.
Forklift operation and material handling
Loading/unloading material
Bundling, labelling and organizing finished steel framing components
Keeping the shop clean, safe and organized

Requirements:
Forklift experience preferred
Forklift licence/certification is an asset
Warehouse, machine, tool, metal, fabrication, CNC or roll-forming experience is an asset
Basic computer knowledge required
Must be reliable,



punctual and willing to learn
Must be legally allowed to work in Canada

Physical & Safety Requirements:
Must be comfortable working in a shop/warehouse setting
Must be able to stand, walk, bend and do material handling during the shift
Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs / 23 kg occasionally
Heavy material must be moved by forklift, lifting equipment or team lifting
Must wear required PPE and follow company safety procedures
Must not operate forklift or machinery unless trained and authorized
