Job Summary

PFG Glass Industries is seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team as full-time Production Workers at our Langley facility.

We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, have strong attention to detail, work well as part of a team, and are willing to learn and develop new skills while building a rewarding career.

Previous glass industry experience is not required. Experience in manufacturing, production, construction, warehousing, machine operation, trades, or other hands-on work environments is considered an asset.

PFG provides detailed hands-on training and ongoing support to help both new and experienced Team Members learn our advanced automated equipment, production processes, safety requirements, and quality standards while developing the skills and confidence needed to succeed in their role.

Production Workers may be assigned to a specific department or cross-trained throughout the facility based on individual skills, experience, and operational requirements.

Compensation & Shifts

Starting Rate: $25.00 per hour, based on relevant skills and experience.

PFG offers three regular full-time production shifts:

- Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Plus 1.50 dollars per hour shift premium
- Night Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM, Plus 3.50 dollars per hour shift premium

Duties & Responsibilities





- Operate specialized automated manufacturing equipment and assist with loading and unloading glass products.
- Inspect and measure glass products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Read and scan production tags to accurately track orders throughout the facility.
- Complete required safety and equipment inspections.
- Use computers and handheld scanners to access production and inventory information.
- Read fabrication drawings, production tags, and work orders to verify production requirements.
- Identify and report product defects, equipment concerns, or production issues to the Team Lead or Manager.
- Follow established safe work procedures and OSSE-certified safety program.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work collaboratively with other Team Members to meet safety, quality, and production requirements.

Qualifications

- Ability to accurately read a standard tape measure.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Dependable transportation to attend scheduled shifts.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to stand and move throughout an eight-hour shift.
- Ability to safely and consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to learn current equipment, processes, and production systems.

Previous experience in manufacturing, production, machine operation, warehousing, construction, trades, or other hands-on environments is considered an asset but is not required.

Relevant skills and experience may be considered when determining the starting wage.
