Role Description This full-time, on-site Professional Sales Representative role is based at Victoria Hyundai in Victoria, BC.

The Professional Sales

Representative is responsible for greeting and assisting customers, understanding their vehicle needs, and presenting suitable Hyundai models and options. Day-to-day activities include conducting product demonstrations and test drives, explaining features and financing options, preparing sales proposals, and completing transaction documentation accurately. The role also involves following up with prospective and existing customers, maintaining detailed records in the CRM system, and collaborating with colleagues in sales, finance, and service to provide a seamless customer experience.

Representative is expected to uphold dealership standards, meet sales targets, and represent the brand in a professional, courteous manner.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to actively listen and respond to diverse customer needs.
- Sales and negotiation skills, including experience closing deals, overcoming objections, and working toward defined performance goals.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with clear, professional presentation and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic digital and administrative skills, including comfort with CRM software, email, and accurate completion of sales documentation.
- Solid product learning aptitude and willingness to stay current on Hyundai models, features, and industry developments.
- Proven reliability, strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a rapid-paced, team-oriented dealership environment.
- Previous automotive or retail sales experience is an asset, but motivated candidates with transferable sales skills are encouraged to apply.
