As Program

Coordinator, you'll support the successful delivery of major capital projects—from network expansions and new facilities to vehicle procurements and fleet modernization. You'll coordinate stakeholders, track progress, provide strategic insights, and help ensure complex, multi-year projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. Main point of contact for Vehicles Group’s overall Capital Expansion Projects, for both internal and external stakeholders; Coordinates and manages activities across programs to ensure interdependencies are communicated Identifies, monitors and provides oversight on dependencies across programs/projects, Liaises with stakeholders to review and ensure program/project impacts are seamless protecting the needs of the Vehicles group Administers the planning, development, and implementation of all related projects within the Group Manages scope of project to ensure it remains within budget and timeframes.

Monitors progress to reduce risks and initiate timely corrective action when required Assists in developing targets and criteria to measure and evaluate the effectiveness and success of the Program, including the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Program Develops and implements project control systems, cost evaluation methodologies and performance evaluation criteria for consultant/contractor selection in accordance with established corporate policies and guidelines Establishes and coordinates work plans against defined project scope,



contract requirements, budget and schedule Conducts special research related to projects as assigned Ensuring adherence to TTC safety policies and requirements of applicable legislation e.g. (Demonstrates behaviours that support diversity, inclusion, and a respectful work and service environment that is free from discrimination and harassment. Helps to remove barriers and accommodate employees and customers (within their area of responsibility) in accordance with TTC’s commitments and obligations under the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC) and Related Orders, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), and TTC’s policies. Manage projects Plan and organize activities / projects to meet section and organizational goals Secure and manage fiscal resources Use office technology, software and applications or a combination of education, training, and experience deemed to be equivalent Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification, or similar certification, or be eligible to achieve certification is considered an asset Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle asset management planning and principles, and engineering and configuration change management Must have or rapidly acquire an understanding of quality assurance and control standards, life cycle management, costing, and knowledge of data collection, validation, analysis and uses Experience in the areas of general project management and engineering management of transit vehicles and/or large multi-disciplinary projects Proficiency in the use of computer based scheduling systems and other computerized applications related to the work (e.g.

MS Project, Maximo, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, etc.) Must have or rapidly acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the Ontario Human Rights Code and Related Orders including disability accommodation and accessibility requirements pertaining to passengers and employees Commitment to creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture that promotes a sense of belonging and represents and reflects the needs of the communities we serve.
