Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic softball Coach to lead and develop our youth softball camps. The ideal candidate will possess strong teaching skills, a passion for sports, and the ability to motivate young athletes. This role involves planning practices, instructing players on techniques, and fostering a positive team workplace to promote skill development and sportsmanship.

Duties
Plan and conduct engaging softball practices focused on skill improvement, teamwork, and sportsmanship
Teach fundamental softball techniques including batting, pitching, fielding, and base running
Develop game strategies and provide guidance during competitions
Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback to help athletes improve
Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities
Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages teamwork and respect among players
Communicate effectively with parents, players,



and other coaching staff regarding team updates and player development
Organize team events, drills, and community outreach activities

Skills
Proven experience in teaching or coaching softball or related sports
Solid leadership abilities with excellent communication skills
Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes of varying skill levels
Knowledge of softball rules, techniques, and safety procedures
Experience in swimming is a nice-to-have skill that can be beneficial for multi-sport coaching or water safety awareness
Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude to foster a supportive learning workplace

Job Type: Seasonal Pay: From $20.00 per hour
