Role : Sr Business analyst (Wealth Management & Banking)

Location : Mississauga, ON, Canada (Hybrid)

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Senior Business Analyst with deep domain expertise in Banking and Wealth Management . In this role, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex financial requirements into actionable Agile/Scrum user stories and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate closely with product owners, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to elicit, analyze, and document comprehensive business requirements.
Domain Expertise: Leverage extensive knowledge of Wealth Management and core banking processes to design robust solutions for portfolio management, investment products, advisory services, or client reporting.
Agile & Scrum Execution: Actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Grooming, and Retrospectives).
Backlog Management: Write explicit, concise,



and testable user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows using Jira .
Stakeholder Management: Facilitate requirement workshops, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure alignment between business goals and technical delivery.
Testing & Deployment Support: Partner with QA teams to define test scenarios, validate functionality, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

Required Qualifications & Skills:
Total Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of skilled experience as an IT Business Analyst.
Domain Experience: Strong, hands-on background in the Banking sector, with mandatory, core expertise in Wealth Management .
Agile & Tooling Mastery: Proven experience working in fast-paced Scrum/Agile delivery models.
Project Tracking: Expert-level proficiency with Jira for backlog management, epics, user stories, and sprint tracking.
Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to technical teams and vice versa.
