Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Skid Steer Operator to join our team and help maintain high-quality parking lot environments. In this role, you will operate skid steer loaders and other heavy equipment to perform various tasks related to parking lot construction, maintenance, and cleanup. Your expertise will ensure efficient, safe, and exact operations that contribute to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities
Operate skid steer loaders with precision to perform grading, debris removal, and surface leveling in parking lot areas
Assist with paving activities by preparing surfaces and supporting asphalt installation processes
Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment as needed
Support other heavy equipment operations such as dozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, and horizontal drilling machinery
Conduct safety inspections of equipment before use and adhere to all safety protocols during operations




Collaborate with the construction team to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high safety standards
Maintain detailed records of daily operations, equipment usage, and maintenance activities

Skills
Proven experience operating skid steer loaders in construction or parking lot projects
Robust mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and minor repairs of heavy machinery
Ability to operate additional equipment such as dozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, and horizontal drills
Knowledge of commercial driving regulations for transporting equipment or materials if necessary
Familiarity with Caterpillar (CAT) machinery or similar heavy equipment brands is preferred
Construction experience with a focus on paving, grading, and site preparation is highly desirable
Excellent understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites
