We’re looking for a P&C; Insurance Advisor to join our growing Desjardins agency in Mississauga.

What You’ll Do

Build meaningful relationships with clients through phone, in-person, and digital channels.

Understand clients’ needs and provide personalized home, auto, and commercial insurance solutions.

Prepare quotes, issue policies and contracts, process changes, and ensure documentation is accurate.

Conduct needs-based insurance reviews and identify opportunities to protect clients more completely.

Manage renewals, follow up on outstanding files, and provide proactive client service.

Educate clients on their coverage and confidently explain insurance products and options.

Identify and act on sales opportunities through referrals, follow-ups, and proactive outreach.

Work closely with the agent and team to achieve sales, service, and marketing goals.

Contribute ideas to help grow our agency and strengthen our presence in the local community.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is motivated, personable, coachable,



and genuinely enjoys working with people.

Qualifications

OTL or RIBO licence is highly desirable; candidates who are committed to obtaining the required licence will also be considered.

Previous insurance, financial services, banking, sales, or customer-service experience is an asset.

Experience in P&C; insurance is an asset, but not required.

Life & Health licence is an asset, or willingness to obtain one.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to build relationships and achieve goals.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Comfortable using technology, social media, and digital communication tools.

A positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.

Strong initiative and the ability to identify opportunities rather than simply wait for them.

Leadership potential and a desire to take on greater responsibility as the agency grows.

Compensation & Benefits

$45,000–$55,000 base salary, depending on experience + comission
