Better Minds Counselling is searching for a therapist who is a Registered Psychologist or Nurse Practitioner to join our team. We are centrally located in the heart of London, Ontario (with free onsite parking). We are looking for someone who uses a direct and collaborative approach to therapy and assessment. We want someone who is able to connect with clients, while also helping them achieve their goals, through assessment, diagnosis and therapy. Using a practical approach to therapy and making a plan with the client to get them to a better place.

Utilizing treatment plans and homework to help them achieve their goals. Therapists are expected to also do their own marketing and networking to build their caseload.

Qualifications

- Doctoral degree in Psychology from a recognized university program or Master of Nursing or Doctoral Degree.
- Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), or College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario.
- Advanced knowledge and clinical experience in the assessment and diagnostics.
- Demonstrated competency in psychological assessment, and case conceptualization.
