Join our team as a Shipper/Receiver/Forklift Operator and become a vital part of our manufacturing facility. We are seeking a long-term employee shipper/receiver that is looking to grow within the company.
You will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement of goods, ensuring accurate shipping and receiving processes, and maintaining a protected and organized warehouse setting. Your expertise will help streamline order fulfillment, and uphold high standards of warehouse distribution.
Responsibilities
Safely operate counterbalance propane forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
Accurately receive incoming shipments by verifying quantities against purchase orders
Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and labeling them correctly for delivery
Utilize warehouse management systems
Conduct order picking with precision to fulfill customer orders efficiently, ensuring timely dispatch
Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols
Maintain organized storage areas,
perform routine inventory counts
Support shipping & receiving activities by documenting all transactions clearly and thoroughly
Experience
Must be fluent in English (Verbally, reading and writing)
Previous warehouse experience is highly preferred
Certified forklift operator with valid certification
Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes, and packaging standards
Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order accuracy
Experience with order picking techniques and load & unload operations using various equipment
Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
