Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Shingler/Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with roofing projects and general labor tasks in office. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn and contribute to a energetic construction environment.

Prior experience in shingle roofing work, working at heights or construction is a plus but not mandatory. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in roofing and construction while contributing to quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities
Assist with shingling and roofing installation according to project specifications
Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, and other basic construction tools
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and efficiently
Follow project plans to ensure accurate installation
Support tasks including framing, trimming, and caulking as needed
Maintain a clean and organized worksite to promote safety and efficiency




Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Perform general labor duties such as moving materials, preparing sites, and cleaning up after work

Skills
Proficiency with hand tools used in construction, nail guns
Experience or familiarity with construction sites and roofing processes
Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing joints and seams
Physical strength for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of manual labor
Handyman experience is advantageous for versatile task performance
Robust teamwork skills, attention to detail, and safety awareness

This role is vital for the successful completion of roofing projects and requires a motivated individual eager to learn recent skills within the construction industry. Pay: $19.50-$30.00 per hour
