As part of the Subway® Team, you as a Shift Manager will focus on six main things:
Providing an excellent guest experience and confirm all team members do the same.
Ensuring that outstanding food is prepared & served
Keeping our restaurants functional, clean and beautiful, and ensuring team members complete all tasks assigned
Controlling inventory
Coaching, Training, Scheduling and supervising staff
Promoting Team work.

In addition to the role of a typical Sandwich Artist®, key parts of your day to day will consist of:
Cascading training to Sandwich Artists™ on existing and current responsibilities
Having the ability to communicate all ongoings with members of the Management team.
Practicing inventory control standards and ensuring team members do the same.
Ensuring equipment is in proper working order during shift
Completing paperwork as needed

PREREQUISITES Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: A minimum of 2 year of experience in a restaurant or supervisory setting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Communication and organizational skills

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 15 pounds frequently and up to 35 pounds occasionally.
