Position Summary

Saba Foods is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of restaurant serving experience and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. The Server is responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, upselling menu items, and ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.

Minimum Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as a server in a full-service restaurant
Solid English communication skills.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace.
Basic cash handling and POS system experience.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Key Responsibilities Guest Service
Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Present menus and explain dishes, ingredients, and daily specials.
Answer questions regarding allergens and dietary restrictions.
Recommend and upsell appetizers, desserts, and beverages.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.




Check on guests to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
Process payments accurately and efficiently.

Dining Room Operations
Set up and explicit tables.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining room and service stations.
Refill condiments, napkins, and supplies.
Assist with takeout and delivery orders.
Perform opening and closing duties.

Team Collaboration
Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Support coworkers during busy periods.
Follow company policies, health regulations, and safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Toast POS or similar systems.
Multilingual abilities are an asset.
