Day-to-day, what are the responsibilities?

- Functional / automation testing
- Hands-on testing phases

- Database queries / Database validation

- Running agile ceremonies, daily stand-up calls

- Completing testing work, manual test cases for a functionality or project

- Data setup

- Test execution
- Capturing all evidence as per requirements - good documentation skills

- Automation activities using Selenium and Java.

Must-haves/key skills needed:

1. Hands on tester (8-10 years)

2. Banking and payments

3. Manual + automation testing
4. Enhancing or building a framework

5. Write straightforward java code
6. API testing (Rest, Postman)

7. UI Testing (Selenium, Cucumber Java)

8. SQL joins

Plusses:

- Expert in automation
- Building frameworks in Selenium and java

- AI/ Copilot
