About the Team The Customer Service team reports up to the Operations Manager. This team is responsible for processing all incoming inquiries, request and questions from customers and facilitating conversation between organizations. They are detail oriented and thorough to make sure that our customers receive the highest level of service and always feel confident in our partnership.

By bridging the gap between customer organizations and our own, this team ensures that we can continue to build our relationships and find new opportunities to expand on the work we do together. About the Role

We are seeking a quick learner and detail-oriented candidate for our Quotation Specialist role. This person will be responsible for working with our Customer Service, Sales and Production teams to prepare quotations for new work orders from customers.

The Quotation

Specialist will work on supporting quotation requests from customers in RFQ processes or quotations for new work orders from existing customers.



This person must have strong interpersonal skills as they will interact with many of our internal teams to gather necessary information while preparing a quote. They are responsible for making sure we are accurate with our pricing and have included all the necessary components to prepare a precise and competitive quote. A keen eye for small details and ability to recognize patterns will serve the Quotation Specialist well. An ideal candidate will be able to blend the previously mentioned skills with a proficient expertise in Excel and ERP software to complete their work efficiently and ensure that we maintain a reasonable delivery timeline for our customers. Previous experience in this type of role, or in the electronics manufacturing industry, is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Review customer RFQs and their associated documentation, including BOMs, technical drawings, components specifications and memos.
- Coordinate with the Engineering, Production, Purchasing and Sales team to get the necessary information required to prepare the quote and translate the requirements into a complete quotation.
- Prepare competitive quotations using Excel, our ERP systems (Visual and Aegis) and ensure they are prepared in a timely manner to comply with customer timelines.
- Verify completed quotations against customer documentation to ensure compliance with all specifications.
- Serve as a customer contact point for questions or escalations should there be any concerns or issues with the prepared quotations.




- Coordinate internally should there be any questions or escalations regarding a prepared quotation.
- Process completed quotations into the ERP system and into any internal tracking documentation ensuring no details are overlooked.
- Monitor quotation request flow to ensure there are no backlogs and projects are prioritized accordingly.
- Support the customer service and reception teams with any ad-hoc projects or responsibilities in the event of urgent requests or backup coverage situations.

About You

Qualifications

● Diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Electronics or a related field

● Ability to proficiently speak, read and write English

● 2+ years of experience in customer service or purchasing/procurement, preferably in the EMS or electronic manufacturing industry

● Familiarity with Quotation and Customer Service procedures and principles

● Experience working under strict deadlines and ability to manage competing priorities

● Previous experience with ERP/MRP systems and strong Microsoft Excel skills

● Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills

● Comfortability with fast paced environments and learning new things

● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Salary Range The expected wage range for this position is $20 – $25 per hour.
