Lifetime Wellness Clinic is seeking a Registered Acupuncturist with strong hands-on treatment skills, particularly in Tui Na, acupressure, and other manual TCM techniques.

Our clinic has a strong focus on Registered Massage Therapy and musculoskeletal care, and we are looking for an Acupuncturist who can provide a complementary hands-on treatment option for patients experiencing muscle tension, pain, stiffness, and mobility-related concerns.

This position is especially suited to a practitioner who enjoys manual therapy and acupressure-based treatment, including working with patients who may prefer a non-needling approach.

Acupuncture may also be provided when clinically appropriate and preferred by the patient.

Compensation

- 70% practitioner / 30% clinic split
- Independent contractor position

Duties

- Provide individualized Tui Na, acupressure, and manual TCM treatments
- Provide acupuncture when appropriate and within your scope of practice
- Assess patients and develop appropriate treatment plans based on their individual needs
- Treat musculoskeletal concerns such as muscle tension, pain, stiffness, and mobility restrictions
- Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment goals and recommendations
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate professionally with RMTs and other practitioners within the clinic
- Maintain a clean, skilled, and safe treatment environment




- Practice in accordance with applicable professional standards and scope of practice

Requirements

- Current registration as a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac.) in British Columbia
- Good standing with the applicable regulatory college
- Current professional liability insurance
- Strong hands-on skills in Tui Na, acupressure, or similar manual TCM techniques
- Comfortable providing hands-on treatment as a significant part of patient care
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Professional, reliable, and able to work independently
- Interest or experience in musculoskeletal and pain-related treatment is preferred
- Experience with cupping, Gua Sha, or other appropriate TCM modalities is an asset

Practical Assessment

Because hands-on treatment skills are an important part of this position, shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a brief paid hands-on practical assessment as part of the interview process.

This allows us to better understand your treatment style, pressure control, technique, and overall approach to manual therapy.
