Responsibilities

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that support early childhood education principles and cater to diverse learning needs.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and social interaction among children.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists to promote a team-oriented approach to child development.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, documenting observations to inform individualized learning plans.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that complies with health and safety regulations.




- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and collaborating with specialists as needed.
- Utilize computer skills for record-keeping, lesson planning, and communicating with families through digital platforms.

Experience

- Proven experience working with young children in an early childhood education setting or similar environment.
- Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
- Experience working with children who have disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
- Bilingual abilities in English and French are considered an asset for effective communication with diverse communities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing classroom activities and guiding team members when necessary.
- Robust organizational skills to plan lessons efficiently while managing time effectively across multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to engage with children, families, and team members confidently.
