Duties

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth for children.
- Foster a safe, welcoming environment that encourages curiosity and independence among children.
- Observe and assess each child's progress, documenting developmental milestones and communicating findings with families and team members.
- Support children with diverse needs by adapting activities and providing individualized care plans in collaboration with specialists in special education or disabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, daily routines, and incident reports while ensuring compliance with licensing standards.
- Lead classroom activities with enthusiasm while demonstrating robust classroom management skills to promote positive behavior.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to develop curriculum plans,



organize classroom resources, and ensure a smooth daily operation.

Requirements

- Valid certification as a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) or equivalent credential recognized by local licensing authorities.
- Fluency in English
- Demonstrated experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles, teaching strategies, and inclusive practices for children with disabilities or special needs.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and team members.
- Proficiency in computer operation including basic software applications for record keeping and communication purposes.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple responsibilities.
- Leadership qualities that foster teamwork and inspire confidence among peers and children alike.

Pay: $18.25-$29.75 per hour
