About Banff Sport Medicine:

Banff Sport Medicine (BSM) is a multidisciplinary clinical, educational, and research facility with a mission to provide world-class musculoskeletal care. BSM offers an outstanding learning and team-based working environment. Our integrated team provides excellent access to healthcare services, including orthopaedic surgery, sport medicine, physiotherapy, bracing and orthotics, dietetics, psychology, massage therapy, and strength and conditioning.

We provide healthcare services to all ages and abilities, as well as recreational and elite athletes.

Expected clinical commitment: Up to 4 clinical shifts per week, with flexibility to increase hours as the caseload develops.

- Work alongside other experienced healthcare providers with experience in acute, postoperative, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

- Electronic medical record system via Jane App and Administration support.
- Internal referral network and collaborative opportunities with physiotherapy, sport medicine, and orthopaedic surgery teams.

- Our current massage therapist will be reducing their clinical hours this fall, creating an additional opportunity to build a caseload.

Qualifications / Requirements:

- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-informed practice
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated initiative, respect and empathy
- Effective communication with internal and external healthcare providers
- Registered Massage Therapist in Alberta
