About Village Physiotherapy

Village Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Centre is a multidisciplinary rehabilitation and wellness clinic located in Mississauga.

We are expanding our clinical team and are seeking a skilled, motivated and patient-focused Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RMT looking to establish or grow a patient caseload within a multidisciplinary clinic while collaborating with physiotherapists, chiropractors and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct appropriate patient assessments
- Develop individualized massage therapy treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic massage treatments within your professional scope of practice
- Monitor patient response and adjust treatment plans when appropriate
- Provide patient education regarding stretching, mobility, posture and self-care when appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Maintain professional treatment-room standards
- Follow appropriate infection-prevention and cleaning procedures
- Communicate and collaborate with other healthcare practitioners when appropriate
- Make appropriate internal and external referrals
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards
- Build and maintain positive long-term relationships with patients

Qualifications

Required:

- Registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)
- Valid professional liability insurance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and patient-focused approach




- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment

New graduates who are registered and eligible to practise in Ontario are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

Competitive percentage-based compensation.

Compensation structure will be discussed based on experience, availability, caseload and employment/contractor arrangement.

Schedule

We are open to part-time and full-time candidates.

Weekday, evening and Saturday opportunities may be available.

We are particularly interested in practitioners who are looking to establish a consistent schedule and develop a long-term patient caseload.

Candidates may initially work a limited number of clinic days and increase their schedule as demand grows.
