Senior Python Developer

Mississauga, Ontario Canada

Fulltime/permanent

Hybrid 2 to 3 days onsite per week

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable Python-based applications.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven applications.
Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis and design through development, testing, deployment, and support.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines while implementing automation, monitoring, logging, and application observability practices.
Diagnose and resolve application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize system performance and reliability.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, software engineers, architects, and other technology teams to deliver effective technical solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and secure code while following established coding standards, security practices, and enterprise governance requirements.
Contribute to code reviews, automated testing,



and continuous improvement of development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Robust skilled experience in Python development.
Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Flask, or similar Python web frameworks.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and SQL.
Experience working with Linux, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
Solid troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams.
Understanding of application security, performance optimization, and software development best practices.
Exposure to AI/ML technologies, solutions, or integrations is a strong plus.

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
