Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools invites applications for the position of Registered Psychologist. This position is a 1.0 (full-time) temporary position, commencing on August 25, 2026 or mutually agreed upon date.
The psychologist will administer comprehensive psychological assessments and make school program recommendations. The incumbent will work closely with students, families, and school-based staff to plan effective interventions based on the student's identified needs.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Possess a Master of Education or Master of Arts Degree with specialization in School Psychology, Educational Psychology or Clinical Psychology
- Be registered with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists
- Eligible for a Skilled "B" Saskatchewan Teacher's Certificate
- Commitment to the ideals and principles of Catholic education
Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Demonstrate a commitment to a holistic approach to assessment
- Demonstrated an understanding and the implementation of cultural appropriate assessments
- Possess an understanding of First Nations and Metis World View
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An ability to collaborate and contribute within a responsive team
