This is an exciting time to join our growing team as we develop the strategies and plans to support a new brand and vision for customer centricity and operational excellenceDuties And ResponsibilitiesPlan, prepare, review, coordinate, and manage designs (Stations), material lists, cost estimates, job issues, drawings, and financial audits for a variety of different types of projects from start to finish.Liaise with municipal, regional, provincial government staff, other utilities, consultants, developers, contractors, customers, and various internal Elexicon Energy staff to ensure the timely provision of electrical supply and assigned projects execution. Monitor progress of projects and prepare reports as required.Prepare and administer technical components of the RFP/RFQ process.Other duties as assigned. Key Skills & QualificationsExperience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite and Engineering analysis related software.Knowledge of Ontario Regulation 22/04.Knowledge of applicable CSA standards and Electrical Safety Code.Project Management skills.Ability to read technical drawings.Knowledge of GIS systems.Knowledge of utility related construction practices.Excellent safety record and strong safety awarenessBe dependable.



This role is relied upon to complete assigned work within permitted timelines.Have an exceptional attendance record and proven time management skills.Ability to work with minimal supervision.Highly motivated team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with both internal and external clients.Minimum Requirements3-year post-secondary diploma Electrical Technologist.O.A.C.E.T.T. designation as a Certified Engineering Technician or Technologist in the Province of Ontario in the Electrical discipline.Possess a valid Ontario Class G Drivers' license with a valuable driving record.Minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant experience in the engineering field.UnionCompensation Package: Hourly rate between $ $52.80, as per our collective agreement with Power Worker's Union (PWU) + Benefits + OMERS Pension PlanThe above range reflects the reasonable estimate for the position at the time of posting.
