This strategic role focuses on implementing robust ServiceNow Discovery solutions. You’ll be responsible for managing and configuring MID Servers, developing Discovery components, and maintaining high-quality CMDB populations to support SAM and HAM. Your expertise in application dependencies will ensure reliability and compliance within cloud and on-premises environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and manage secure MID Servers for discoveries
• Create and maintain custom Discovery patterns and probes
• Ensure CMDB populations align with SAM and HAM goals




• Implement accurate Service Mapping strategies
• Troubleshoot Discovery processes using relevant protocols
Requirements:
• 5+ years implementing ServiceNow Discovery and ITOM roles
• Expertise in MID Server configuration and management
• Script proficiency in JavaScript, PowerShell, etc.
• Solid understanding of CMDB data models
• ServiceNow Discovery or ITOM certification mandatory
