Description:

To support our growing organization, we are currently looking for a Senior Automation & Drives Specialist to join our team. The candidate will take on an engineering and project management role for solutions in a broad range of industrial markets including End Users, OEMs and Electrical Contractors.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will manage various aspects of the job including system design (hardware/software),



customer relationships and project scope
Responsible for automation and controls systems design, specification, programming, simulation, testing and start-up assistance
Travel to customer sites for meetings, commissioning, technical reviews, etc.
Participate in meetings with supervisors and co-workers
Assume other activities and responsibilities from time to time as assigned

Key Competencies:

As a qualified candidate, you meet the following requirements:
Electrical/Electronic/Automation Technology diploma or degree from a recognized institution
Solid knowledge of industrial controls/automation and power distribution
Proven experience working with AC & DC Drives, PLC, HMI, SCADA
Performs work with a high degree of integrity, innovation, and collaboration
Self-motivated, energetic, enthusiastic
Exhibit strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Valid passport and driver’s license; must have own vehicle, and clean driving record
