Lead Mercer’s Alternatives team in Canada as a Senior Alternatives Investment Leader. This hybrid position focuses on investment strategy and alternative asset management while fostering a cooperative team setting. In this critical role, you will report to the Regional CIO of Investments, overseeing the Alternatives Investment Directors.

Your expertise in private equity, real estate, hedge funds, and other alternative assets will guide the firm’s investment value proposition and strategy tailored to clients. You’ll mentor a skilled team while ensuring high-quality client deliverables in a energetic market. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement alternative investment strategies for clients
Lead and mentor Alternative Investment Directors and specialists




Act as portfolio manager for fund-of-fund strategies
Drive product development and Know-Your-Product initiatives
Represent Mercer in global Alternatives Committees Requirements:
15+ years of experience in alternatives investing
BA/BS in finance or economics; advanced degree preferred
CFA and CAIA designations preferred
Proven track record in business development
Registration as a Canadian Portfolio Manager preferred Drive innovation and success in alternative investments with Mercer’s talented team.
