We are seeking a Sample Receptionist (6-month contract) for our Mississauga Lab.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Working within an ISO 17025 laboratory workplace the sample reception personnel will be responsible for:
Receiving, subsampling, and preserving samples safely with acids/bases as necessary




Accurate data entry into a LIMS system in accordance with company procedures
Preparing outgoing bottle orders
Shipping and receiving samples
Adhere to all Health and Safety rules
Cleaning workspace and coolers as required
Meeting production timelines
Any other tasks as required

Requirements:
Some knowledge of chemical environmental testing
Critical Thinking and ability to multi-task
Solid communication skills; excellent phone and desk manner
Basic computer skills
Organizational skills
Ability to work alone and in a team workplace
Ability to work under pressure in a quick pace setting

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate
Mississauga, ON L5N 5M3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
