Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure workplace through attentive surveillance and proactive security measures. This role offers an chance to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and quick response are essential.

Responsibilities
Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and ensure safety protocols are followed
Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including alarms or disturbances
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes




Enforce company policies related to loss prevention and access control
Assist visitors and staff by providing directions or information while maintaining security protocols
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to address security concerns

Qualifications
Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred but not required
Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques is advantageous
Robust observational skills with the ability to detect suspicious activity quickly
Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour
Ability to remain calm and composed during stressful situations

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
