Accounting Administrator - Projects

North York, ON

A growing contracting company in North York is looking for a Project Accounting Administrator to join their growing team and play an important role in supporting the financial and administrative side of their projects.

This is a great opportunity for someone who likes variety, staying busy and wearing a lot of hats. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, suppliers, vendors and the accounting team, helping keep project billing, invoices, documentation and records organized and moving forward.

As the company continues to grow, there’s plenty of opportunity to learn, take on more responsibility and grow with the company.

What You’ll Do

- Support the setup and ongoing administration of projects
- Prepare progress billing packages, invoices and completion documentation
- Work with Project Managers to coordinate monthly completion quantities and progress claims
- Review and verify supplier and installer invoices against purchase orders and supporting documentation
- Assist with accounts receivable follow-up and monitoring payment status




- Prepare statutory declarations and other project payment documentation
- Collect and maintain WSIB clearances, insurance certificates and other compliance documentation
- Track invoices, billing deadlines and outstanding documentation
- Maintain accurate project billing and accounting records
- Support the Accounting team with month-end activities
- Make entries and maintain project information in QuickBooks
- Jump in and help wherever needed — you’ll be an important part of a busy, growing team!

Salary: $40,000 – $50,000 + growth opportunities
