RETAIL CUTTER / CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE

Mook Fabrics Ltd is a large wholesale/retail fabric supplier servicing and distributing throughout Canada and the United States.

We are looking for a full-time individual to join our busy retail team in Medicine Hat.

Duties:
Assisting and advising customers on fabric purchases
Processing fabric orders
Working with various fabrics, including measuring, cutting, folding, and packing orders
Providing excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and via email
Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
Assisting with reception duties and providing coverage for the receptionist as required
Greeting customers and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Maintaining organized filing systems and completing general administrative tasks
Supporting the retail and office teams as needed

Requirements:
Previous customer service experience is required
Reception, administrative,



or telephone customer service experience is an asset
Knowledge of fabric is an asset but not essential; we will train the right person
Able to read and interpret orders and invoices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good attention to detail and organizational skills
Computer literate and comfortable learning new systems
Reliable, dependable, and able to follow direction
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Position requires the individual to be on their feet for most of the day
