Duties may include
Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
Assist in food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality and safety standards
Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS, for order processing and payments
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas, following food safety protocols
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy hours and coordinate multiple tasks seamlessly
Qualifications
Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations in the food industry
Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
Basic math skills for cash handling, order calculations, and POS operations
Ability to multitask efficiently in a rapid-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Experience with food preparation, serving, or kitchen tasks is a plus but not mandatory
Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks and deliver timely service
