Responsibilities
Perform pre and post trip circle checks
Maintain daily logs of truck usage, maintenance, etc.
Knowledge of dumping and hauling procedures
Knowledge of 30, 35, 60-tonne articulate/ rigid rock trucks
Assist with site, including material handling, site preparation, and equipment setup
Follow detailed safety procedures and wear proper protective gear at all times during operations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Identify, report and correct hazards
Previous mining experience is an asset
Preference for individuals experienced on multiple pieces of equipment
Punctuality

Requirements
Ability to work independently and self-motivated
Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor throughout shifts when required
Team Player; able to get along with a diverse group of people working towards a common goal
Must have a full G license with clean abstract
Current criminal record check mandatory
Surface Miner Common Core is an asset
