Howitt Construction is a busy excavation company based out of Red Deer. We're looking for experienced nightshift rock truck operators for a site preparation project located 1.5hrs NW of Whitecourt. Transportation will be provided from Whitecourt to/from work site. Work contract is approx 2 months long, start is Aug 17.

Candidates must be able to perform all the skills in the Scope of Work, and work in a protected manner following all policies and procedures.

Work Details
10 - 11 hr working shifts plus 1.5 hr of paid drive time, transportation provided,
7 days a week, long weekends off (4 days)
Hotel accommodation/LOA available,
Must have: high visibility vest, steel toed boots, safety glasses, gloves and hard hat.

Rock Truck Scope of Work




Minimum of 5 months experience,
Operate machine safely,
Dump loads where directed,
Maintain consistent distance when pulling up to excavator,
Complete walk arounds,
Fuel and grease own machine.

PPE Requirements
Steel toed boots,
High visibility safety vest,
Safety glasses,
Hard hat,
Gloves.

Job Types: Full time, Seasonal Pay: $24.00 per hour
