The Director, Tertiary Clinical Operations is accountable for the daily management of delegated units and their efficient function and performance, and ensuring appropriate staffing levels to support quality care, building capacity to focus on delivering quality patient care and responding to patient safety events. The position monitors operational budgets, participates in operational planning at the unit and program level and oversees patient flow.Oversees programs, departments, and services to support Unit Managers, removes barriers to patient transition and fosters a culture of patient-centred care across the health care continuum. Partners with physician, clinical and support leaders in the system design, implementation and sustainability of an integrated clinical program to achieve Island Health's priority actions supporting strategic operating priorities.In accordance with the Vision, Purpose, and Values,
