Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and supervision to youth with diverse needs in various settings.
Support youth in achieving personal goals, building life skills, and maintaining positive behavior.
Reintegration into society, companionship.
Need to facilitate community outings and recreational activities.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
Uphold a protected and supportive setting for youth in care.

Qualifications:
College diploma in a related field (e.g., Social Work, Child and Youth Care, Community Justice Service, Psychology) or higher education.
Valid G-class driver’s license. (Respite worker transports client in their own vehicle.)




CPR/First Aid Certified
Must have Crisis Intervention Training(SMG, CPI, NVCI,UMAB)
Up to Date Vulnerable Sector Screenings
Proof of Vaccinations
Experience working with youth with complex special needs and/or youth involved in criminal rehabilitation is an asset.
Solid communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.

Hours are typically but not limited to taking place after school hours, on weekends and evenings. All workers would be expected to take clients in their own vehicle.
