Summary

S&J; Construction Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Rubber Tire Excavator Operator to join our growing team. This role is vital in helping us deliver high-quality infrastructure projects while maintaining our core values of transparency and client involvement. The successful candidate will operate heavy machinery efficiently and safely at various commercial and residential construction sites; and for various public works departments. Responsibilities

S&J; Construction Ltd. is looking for a Rubber Tire Excavator Operator who will:
Operate excavators and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites.
Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and safety standards.
Follow all safety protocols and company policies during operations.




Assist in site preparation and cleanup activities as needed.
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance.
Support other construction activities as required to ensure project success.
Qualifications

S&J; Construction Ltd. requires candidates with:
Proven experience operating excavators, especially rubber tire models.
Robust mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment.
Valid class 5 drivers license.
Must have own transportation to our office/shop as we are not located on a bus route.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
Prior experience with CAT equipment is a plus.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
Able to work extended hours and weekends
