Key Responsibilities
Follow VCC policies and procedures, the College of ECE Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, and CCEYA requirements
Observe and document children’s learning and development
Plan and implement engaging, play-based programming aligned with How Does Learning Happen? (HDLH)
Provide a safe,



inclusive, and nurturing learning workplace
Build strong, professional relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Maintain required documentation, reporting, and classroom organization

Qualifications
Registered and in positive standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (RECE)
Current Vulnerable Sector Check (within 6 months)
Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Level C
Up-to-date immunization records
Physically able to lift and assist children up to 4 years of age
