We are seeking a highly organized and personable individual to join our team as a Receptionist/Optometric Assistant. This full-time position involves managing front desk operations, performing Pre-tests, visual field tests and fundus photography and assisting with dispensing when needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in these areas and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and qualified manner
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient records
Perform Pre-tests on patients before their appointments
Perform visual field tests and fundus photography on patients when needed
Process payments and handle insurance claims
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Support optometrists with administrative tasks as needed
Help maintain the dispensary and aid with spectacle and contact lens needs

Qualifications:
Previous experience in an optometric office or similar healthcare setting is an asset but not required




Certified Canadian Optometric Assistant (CCOA) is an asset but not required
Proficiency in French is an asset
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Billing/Insurance experience and EMR proficiency is an asset
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
