Become a key player in the Surgical Relief Pool at Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, BC as a Registered Nurse. This part time chance is centered on delivering exceptional nursing care in surgical settings. You'll provide direct patient care while following the strategic direction of the Vancouver Island Health Authority.

This role requires an RN registration with the BC College of Nurses and a preference for two years of medical/surgical nursing, particularly in chemotherapy and pain management, to enhance patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients
Uphold nursing standards and patient safety protocols
Coordinate with other healthcare professionals for effective care




Communicate clearly with various contacts including families and physicians
Engage in ongoing quality and safety improvements Requirements:
Current registration with the BC College of Nurses
Minimum of two years experience in medical/surgical nursing
Competent communication and priority-setting skills
Ability to interact effectively with diverse healthcare contacts
