Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote healthy smiles
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately and efficiently
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
Assist with patient examinations by recording medical histories and vital signs
Collaborate with dentists to develop personalized treatment plans for patients
Manage patient records using dental practice management software
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed
Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
Qualifications
Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in ON
Must hold malpractice insurance
Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
