Major Responsibilities:
Read and interpret plans, illustrations and sketches to determine specifications and needs.
Prepare formats in conformance to building regulations; use gauging tools.
Cut, shape, construct and join materials made of wood, timber alternatives, lightweight steel and other products.
Build structures; set up flooring light beams; lay subflooring; install walls and roof systems.
Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
Maintain,



repair and refurbish residences and wooden frameworks in mills, mines, hospitals, plants and other establishments.

Qualifications:
Language: English
Education: No formal level, certification or diploma required
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Tools/Equipment: Own steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles
Transportation/Travel: Own transportation; willing to travel and able to go on trips
Physical/Job Capacities: Able to work with large workloads; bending, crouching, stooping; standing and walking; occasional lifting; overtime; able to manage heavy loads
