Help transform mental health care in Clyde River, Pond Inlet, and Qikiqtarjuaq as a Psychiatric Nurse. In this role, you will provide specialized support for individuals with mental health challenges, addictions, and suicidal ideations. You will be responsible for delivering essential services as the sole psychiatric skilled in the community.
This permanent, full time position involves working independently while collaborating with local and territorial healthcare providers. Your nursing expertise will play a pivotal role in patient assessments and the management of vital care information. Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert services for patients with concurrent disorders
Conduct comprehensive assessments for mental health issues
Serve as a point of contact for medical professionals
Deliver care focused on addictions and crisis interventions
Collaborate with the healthcare team for patient success Requirements:
Registered Nurse with psychiatric specialization
Solid background in mental health assessment
Ability to manage a variety of mental health issues
Effective communication with healthcare providers
