Overview

Natur+L XTD is a food plant specializing in the High Pressure Process (HPP) of prepacked food in order to give them a longer shelf life without chemicals. We are expanding into the Ontario market and are looking for employees to work in our Hamilton plant.SIGNIFICANT: Must ABSOLUTELY be residing in Canada and be a Canadian citizen OR have a valid work permit. Candidates living outside of Canada will not be considered.Schedule: 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Salary : Starting at $21.95/hr (Base hourly rate of $18.95 + an attendance bonus of $3.00/hr)

Responsibilities
Fill baskets with packaged food products
After the HPP treatment, empty the baskets and place the food products on a conveyor belt
Put products in boxes
Palletize the boxed product and store in cold warehouse
Use of an ERP system to manage the inventory of products to be treated and products ready for shipping.

Desired Experience or Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (Work experience will also be considered)
Experience in a food manufacturing plant (is a bonus)
Comfortable using a computer
Good physical health as this work requires standing, bending, lifting very light loads
Ability to work in a team
Experience driving a forklift is an asset




Languages: Speaking and writing in English, French is an asset
A "can do" attitude and having initiative as this is a growing company with many future opportunities for advancement to roles such as Team Lead and Supervisor.
Strong understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
