Become an Early Childhood Educator at YMCA Chetwynd Care and Learning Centre. This full time position focuses on providing quality early education while fostering supportive environments for children and families.

As a permanent Early Childhood Educator, you will work 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Your role involves delivering engaging activities based on the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum and building positive relationships with children and their families. Strong communication skills and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment are essential for this impactful position.

Key Responsibilities:



• Provide creative programming and quality care for children • Build meaningful relationships with families and children • Collaborate to maintain a supportive environment • Deliver age-appropriate programs following YMCA standards • Ensure safety and cleanliness in all areas

Requirements: • Basic ECE certification recognized in British Columbia • Preferred Special Needs Educator (SNE) certification • Solid communication skills both verbally and in writing • CPR-C & AED certification required within 30 days • Satisfactory references and Criminal Record check needed
