English language
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
Knowledge of welding techniques, including Gas metal arc welding (GMAW)
Able to stand for extended periods work within a fast-paced workplace and have an attention for detail to ensure tight deadlines are met
Steel-toed safety boots; welding helmet and gloves
Current welding certification is an asset
For those who do not have CWB certification, Camalor will assist in this process
Any experience reading blueprints is an asset

Duties
To learn and work with Senior welders, manufacturing large complex weldments
Learn to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
Learn to interpret welding process specifications
Learn to operate manual welding equipment




Learn to operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
Learn to examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
